You receive a Pre-Alert from a crew bringing a 32-year-old woman to your emergency department (ED) with multiple stab wounds to her neck chest and arms at home.
She is alert, GCS 15, and talking in short sentences. RR 24, Sats 95% on 15L 02, HR 112, BP 110/76.
There are obvious stab wounds to chest with a large wound over left apex. This has been covered by a dressing. Other wounds are noted to her arms and neck, but appear more superficial in nature.
