A 43-year-old man presents to the emergency department feeling generally unwell. He has been vomiting. He complains of abdominal pain, dizziness and feels disorientated.
He has a background of Addisons disease and recently tested positive for Covid-19.
His observations are as follows:
- Temperature: 38.3 degrees Celsius
- Heart rate: 126 beats per minute
- Blood pressure: 78/43 mmHg
- Respiratory rate: 24 breaths per minute
- Oxygen saturations: 95% breathing room air
