A 27-year-old male presents to the Emergency Department (ED) following a simple trip, catching his right eye on the corner of the pavement. There are no other injuries other than his eye.
On examination you observe a right eye as shown in the image below. Clinically you feel he has a retrobulbar haemorrhage and requires an immediate lateral canthotomy.
