Writing an Abstract
Over the next five pages you are going to write a brief abstract of the paper youve just critically appraised, using the following IMRAD headings.
- Introduction why did they do the trial?
- Methods – how did they do it?
- Results – what did they find?
- Analysis – what did they think this meant?
- Discussion should you be using this treatment or not?
