A 65-year-old male is brought into the Emergency Department (ED) with the family reporting that he has become increasingly muddled over the last 6 months. This results in heated arguments at home. He also complains of low mood.
He has a medical history of hypertension, which is controlled by medication. He is an ex-smoker and a social drinker.
On examination, his observations are normal and physical examination is unremarkable.
