Missed posterior shoulder dislocation is a constant source of litigation.
Maintain a vigilance for this injury, particularly post fitting or electric shock, remember that it may be bilateral, and always obtain a good quality axial view (click on the x-ray to enlarge).
The use of the Y view is not recommended.
