A 20-year-old student is brought to the emergency department (ED) accompanied by her flat mate after she was found barely conscious close to a bottle of her medication that was empty. At presentation she is extremely agitated and is asking for a glass of water saying her mouth is dry.
On Examination she is found to be febrile and, tachycardic with HR of 135bpm, RR of 24 cycles/min and a BP of 90/60mmHg. Sp02 is 97% on room air.
